Set within the idyllic coastal area of Calahonda, Mijas, surrounded by lush pine trees and expansive green spaces, this beachfront apartment has undergone a remarkable transformation. Combining Mediterranean charm with a modern vision, the result is a harmonious blend of functionality, elegance, and the warmth of the local climate.
Originally built in the 1980s, the property presented an outdated and impractical layout, and the need for significant technical upgrades. In this project, designed specifically for clients from Poland, we prioritized the use of locally sourced materials and the thoughtful integration of natural light. A complete reimagining of the space to meet the clients’ desire for a home that reflects the beauty of its natural surroundings while offering uncompromising quality and originality.

Drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean lifestyle, the redesign emphasizes open, airy spaces that seamlessly connect with the outdoors.
Wood effect tiles, small-sized cement tiles, and lightly colored furniture were thoughtfully incorporated to bring a sense of vibrance and authenticity, while large windows frame let in the surrounding greenery and the soft coastal light.
Special attention was given to incorporating local craftsmanship, honoring the Mediterranean spirit while ensuring every detail reflects quality and originality.
