FURNITURE DESIGN FOR A VILLA
Perched in a privileged enclave with sweeping views of the Sierra de Mijas, this villa is a retreat where architecture and nature coexist in quiet harmony. Conceived as both an interior and furniture design project, the intervention seeks beauty through the raw and fine materials. Every corner of the villa has been thoughtfully considered, creating spaces that feel simultaneously intimate and expansive, where light, materiality, and form converge to craft a serene yet luxurious atmosphere.
The design takes cues from the villa’s constructive features to define new spatial relationships that feel both fluid and deliberate. The curved shape of the central piece is rooted in simplicity and precision, allowing light and materials to shape the atmosphere with effortless elegance. The organic lines and high-end finishes—marble, steel, and glass—create a dialogue between comfort and craftsmanship, balancing modernity with warmth.

Lines, Volumes, and Materiality
A key element of the project was the meticulous orchestration of lines, volumes, and materials to create a sense of harmony and sophistication. Smooth, flowing curves soften the architectural edges, while carefully defined volumes introduce depth and rhythm to the interior. Luxurious materials were selected to accentuate these forms: polished steel frames provide structural elegance, natural stone anchors the spaces with a sense of permanence, and brass detailing offers subtle moments of refinement. Each material was not only chosen for its aesthetic quality but also for its ability to interact with natural light and shadow, enhancing the villa’s tactile and visual richness.
